That one. The brake side lined up just fine. The clutch side was off just a hair.

BT really does need to predrill the extra holes.

I mentioned it to Mike at BT the other day.

One bolt per bracket. The spacers can also be found at ace hardware also.

I was just about to finish my installation when I ran across Bertk's original post about stiffening up the inner fairing, so I actually disassembled everything, in order to make this modification.

I used the original socket head screw from the pods in the hole, adjusting it in & out until it just touched the BT bracket. No need to bolt the bracket back in place for this, just put a few screw drivers though the mounting holes to get everything lined up. I then moved the bracket out of the way, put some clay-bar on the bracket (in the area where the new hole is going to be located), realigned the bracket, then pushed it into place, against the socket head screw. The result was a perfect imprint of where to drill the new hole.

The mount in the fairing and socket head screw are not perpendicular to the BT bracket. To compensate for this, I cut the nylon spacer at an angle and used the left-over as a wedge on the opposite side.

In addition to the additional mounting hole in the bracket, it would be nice if Biketronics included a front & back spacer of some sort and a 1 1/2" bolt for each bracket. That's not much to ask, especially considering the cost of the brackets.
