Gann is that amp stable at 2ohms bridged? If not he'll have to run his speakers in series and not sure if he'll notice any change or not. I can't look it up at the moment is why I asked.
Hold the phone Bates! Just thought about it. I'm thinking 4 channel amp bridged to two channels. You're right bro. He needs a 4 channel amp. He would have needed some new speakers with that set up. . .LOL!! No worries though. I got plenty.

I'm dumb as a mud fence when it comes to audio terms... what does bridge mean?
Never mind Bro! You got a two channel Arc. I was thinking 4 channel for whatever reason. Bridged in cave man terms as my friend T always says is basically taking a four channel amp down to two channels and using all the available RMS power for two speakers.
For example: If you had the 4 channel Arc amp. (The KS 124.4) It's rated at 250 watts bridged @ 4 ohms. Using two 4 ohm speakers you would run the positive speaker wire from speaker 1 to the positive terminal on channel 1 on the amp.
The negative wire on speaker 1 would be connected to the negative terminal of channel 2 on the amp.
The positive wire from speaker 2 would be connected to the positive terminal of channel 3 on the amp. The negative wire from speaker two would be connected to the negative terminal of channel 4 on the amp.
Your speakers are now bridged with each speaker getting 250 watts @ 4 ohms.
Now it's possible to bridge the two channel amp. But you would be looking at one speaker on 1 channel. That's what my friend Bates was telling me. Two speakers in parallel would take the resistance down to two ohms and the 2 channel amp is not capable of handling a two ohm load bridged. So the bottom line is. You don't want to do that.
Those Hertz speakers are good to go. However, they need some power to sound good. Best lids out there for your bike is the Hog Tune lids. Best speakers for those lids are the Pioneer Pro 6900 speakers. Best amp for that set up is the Soundstream PN4.1000D. if you don't mind losing FM reception. Otherwise, Your amp options are the BT4180 from Biketronics. The Arc Moto 600.4. The Hertz HDP4 or the Rockford Fosgate TM4004XAD. All 4 channel amps that will maintain reception. But also very expensive.
I also just bought the Twisted 8 lids, Hertz SV 200.1 midrange speakers, Hertz ST 35 and Hertz HD4.... do you think that the HD4 is enough to push that set up?
