Bro I'm not advocating a search. With me all you have to do is ask and I could have told you the D4 wouldn't fit your bike. Sgt Mic has been talking about it for a month now. If you have any questions about anything audio. Here are some guys to ask in no specific order.

How the heck to i get the D4.90 amp in the fairing of this 17 road glide? it measured up ok but now that i have it, its too long. under the HU its about 3/4 to 1 inch too long, bumps into the headlight housing big time... ugh...
this is why these forums are so hard to get the right information.. people talk about this and that but i wonder what the hell they really are trying to say. if anyone has put one in their fairing, they'd know what i am talking about and surely would have relayed that something has to be done to get this installed correctly without modifications or what minor modifications would be needed.

After the OP posted this I had to recuse myself due to conflict of interest. He threw me a curve ball that I couldn't hit. His exact words in his first post were:
"Sticking with the amp I have as it worked great for three years on batwing setup with infinity 6x9's "
That was post 1.
Post 7 He response was "Since I'm using a slightly under powered amp I'm going with the Kappa's"
So naturally I'm thinking : Rockford Fosgate Prime M400-4D amp? Right?
Now I don't know what happened between post 7 and 11 but here's the curve ball post above. Take me out of the game coach. I can't compete. LOL!!
