Default Arc amp problems

Set up 2016 Street Glide Special
Stock HU
DD AW/Bt speakers set up
BT 355 Line leveler
Arc Audio Moto 600.4
Set up using 1k -5db test tone
I just installed the amp set it to 200w per channel was going into protect mode at volume 13
Backed the wattage down to 190. Went into protect mode two more times while riding. Only when volume gets to 12or 13. Did not go into protect mode when setting gains with DMM. Amp trouble shoot code is 2 red blinks then two green couldn’t find that sequence in the manual.

Didn’t have an issue with the JL I pulled out so not sure what’s going on. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Vac is starting point not end especially on Harley with 6.5 head unit to many variables bike on bike running differences .
then recording of music best you can do is play songs that clip set gains bye ear keeping in mind these are 6.5 speaker and find happy medium .
Personally I liked the aw6.5 at 150ish for my choice of music.
Make sure have proper gauge power ground and good speaker wire only other thing I can add.2cts

This may be a silly question, but do you have the amp bridged properly? The switches have to all be set in the right spot for you to bridge and hit the 200W mark safely.

I'm assuming you set gains with the dmm with the bike running?

What volume was HU set at when setting gains?

PatM ,,,,,,

if the Arc 600 moto amp is going into protect mode as you start raising the volume up ,,,, you have the input gains screws adjusted to high ,,,,,

I have had some problems with an Arc Amp in the past. In speaking with the techs at Arc Audio, Only the red Lights is the trouble code. The green lights is the amp resetting itself as it powers back up. Here is the trouble code sheet from the manual. The Arc Audio tech guys are awesome. If you can’t get it figured out, give them a call.
