I have read and unnderstand that there is lots of suggestion and advice to set gain with bike running. Please don't take this the wrong way as I am not questioning that the bike should be running but ....Why is this a best practice?
Is it so that the voltage is up or??
Basically yes the voltage is higher or at least more constant. Id also say that the harmonics of the exhaust may make your speakers sound weird too, so many people want their system to sound best while the bike is turned on and running down the highway, so they tune for that. Others tune for the bike to be in accessory mode.
Gotcha! Thanks for answering that question for me!
My system sounds great now with all of you guy's advise! Blackberry Smoke has never sounded so good!!

Speaking of that....How long can I expect to run stereo at campsite or party on acc. without having to jump it in the morning with this setup? I'm running a stock batt.
What batt would you guys suggest for that kind of stuff? I have had Odysseys on my BMW GS and liked them but....just moving into cruiser mode now....new learning curve!!

I bet with the stock battery u can at least go 1hr. Now with the Braille, perhaps close to 2hrs. Maybe more.
