If you want to keep all of the factory features like CB, Intercom, etc, there are no options. Rockford made a lot of vague complete plug and play claims leading up to the release of their new radio, but it turned out not being much more integrated that any other generic radio folks are using. Plus a silly interface for MP3's and low file number capability as well. Big let down for $650. There is a recent review here somewhere.
yeah I dont care for the cb or intercom system since I have never used them anyway
I installed the DB Moto speakers in my 2019 Road Glide using just stock front location, No extra speakers
I went with a SoundDigital 400.4 amp that I bridge for the 2 front speakers
I also have the BT355 from Biketronics
My 2019 doesn't have buttons, so how do I do the radio reset you guys recommend?
What procedure should I use to dial this thing in?
Since that amp does not have crossover adjustments, you are limited on the adjustments you can make. First get the gains set so you do not have any distortion at 3/4 volume on the stoch headunit. Whatever volume you set your gain at will now be your max volume. Try the amp set to high pass (HP) and see how that sounds. If you still need to fine tune it, there are adjustments that can be made on the BT355, just be aware that the adjusteds on the BT355 are exstreemly sensative. A little bit goes a long way there. You can also adjust the bass and trebel on the head unit but there will not be much to be gained there. Also turn off the automatic volume control (AVC) and leave it off.
