They will fit with a 1/2 inch spacer. I have them on my bike in that position.

Thanks Marco. I never ran a tp so I have no knowledge. BTW another overlooked speaker that will fit in the tp that requires no spacers is that RF tms65. The ones that come with the kits. They are loud, waterproof and tend to be on the harsh side which is needed in the rears trying to overcome wind resistance. I would like to hear some in a tp. Besides you can probably get them cheap too.

I was informed that the Mmats 601cx would need a 1" spacer in the Rushmore TP. The 13 down guys have a 1/2" advantage over the 14 up guys. Please don't tell the wives and girlfriends.
Thank you guys for all the help. I will start by buying the head unit. then a pair of speakers. Then the other pair but do I need the 5.25 speaker for the tour pack pods or can u go bigger without changing the pods they go in?then the amp
Again thank u guys for the help.
Sorry one more question do all the speakers have to be water proof?

For the fairing, it is a plus but not that necessary. For the tp it is a must as they are in direct path should a down pour occur.
