American Hard Bag Plug and Play

Has anyone used the Plug-n-Play front speaker harness from them without a DSP or Flashing? If so did it work well or will it need to be flashed or have a BT355HD installed?

I'm running it,I removed the BT355's, I like it better personally. I do have the 0/4 flash at the moment(going RF just haven't got it done yet) but that's only to retain the fader control.

I'm not really concerned about fade just a good sound so hopefully this will work.

I have both the front and rear AHB speaker harnesses, stock head unit and feed them into a DSP. Without a BT Line Leveler or flash, I think you would be feeding the HD equalization crap into your system. I would suggest that you use a BT line leveler or at minimum an 8/2 flash. Just my opinion, actual results may vary...

But does the one that comes with the AHB kit act as one? I don't see any reason on doubling up if it does. The description they give is very limited either way.

It is my understanding that the ABH harness doesn't counter the HD factory equalization, just provides a way to connect that doesn't involve splicing.... but I could be wrong.
