Running speaker lid wires, amp +/- wires down backbone?
I've seen dissenting opinions on this but is it best to run the amp's power and ground wires separately down the backbone to minimize interference? Say one on each side of the backbone with the speaker lid wires down the center?
Not sure the best way to run the amp and speaker wires (+/-) down the backbone to minimize interference.
Run the amp power and ground through the frame. Problem solved. Look on each side of the neck and you'll find a small hole on each side. Comes out right in front of the battery.

@SBates08 speaks the truth. You're more worried about keeping the power wire away from RCA cables.
This is great information. I just have a few followup questions.
Do you still need to pull off the gas tank to do it?
Is there anything sharp that the wires might ride against when pulling them through?
Did you all use fiberglass fish tape/rod? Is it easier to fish the wires from the seat/battery side forward? I took a quick look yesterday and didn't see the outlets up by the neck? Anyone have a photo?
If I want to run the power down one side and the ground down the other, which side should I run the speaker wire?
You don't need to pull the tank. I had it off to remove the wires I had previously run in that tray.
There probably is sharp stuff in there. I pulled mine back out and put sheathing on them after the picture.
I took a piece of 12/2 household wire, used just one of the wires. Fished it from the front until it exited on the side I was on. Then wrapped new power/ground wire (one at a time) to the fish wire with black electric tape. Pushed new as I pulled the fish out. Slowly.
I ran power and ground on right side, speaker wires (6 sets) on left side. I chose that way since a fuse will go between the battery and cable so it can rest in front of the battery. For me just preference.
