I ran into a similar situation a few years back with an external (passive)crossover was getting hot and causing the amp to go into protect mode (clip).

I will do this when I am back home on Saturday. Hopefully it's the crossovers. Otherwise, I think I am going to swap out the GZ's for something the amp can handle. Appreciate the input.
