Sounds good guys thanks. Yeah I get there will be glade but as long as it’s readable most of the times, I can deal with that. Hopefully order it this weekend then. And cutting a glare film shouldn’t be too hard. The old lady has a cricut machine that can cut out exact dimensions so I might do that. Thanks again!

the gauges should be able to show more than what the fp3 does. the only real reason you'd want to keep it plugged in is to auto tune. I've got the fp3 on my Night Train and I just flashed, tuned, and removed. same goes with my power vision on the Street Glide.

I would just fine a matte screen protector on amazon for an ipad and have her cut it out. Semi-related, the only peeve I have with the screen is that one the GTS unit, I liked that the buttons were non-lit when the bike was off and hid them so it looked like a blank screen. On the Soundstream, they're white and therefore "on" all the time and then are lit up with a color when the bike is on. That's the only thing I dont like and that's me struggling to fine a reason not to like it.

I agree they should have went with a blank screen when it's off.

1.8 is a adjustment on how oil pressure is read, defaults the gauges to "On demand" all the time which means the RR will not be trying to pull Gauge info unless the screen is up.

So the security light still stays on when the gauges are displayed? And the DTC;s are still not displayed ?

They still have not fixed the Gauges issue for the 2014 yet.
I was told it will be comming soon when that is I don't know.
