Updated the Maestro box to 1.8 last night and everything seems to be working better than before. Still gotta try testing if flashing the bike with a tuner requires pulling the fuse again.
What I am getting from maestro is they are working on the 21& up problems first and hopping that it fixes the 14's issue also.
It's comming just don't know when.
Installed last night, 2014 Ultra Limited. Security light still an issue when viewing gauges. Kicks an ABS code and then after ten miles or so a speedo code and trip meters stop working. Also they took away the ability to enable/disable/ ondemand in the gauge settings. The gear indicator is now permanently on 6th gear, where as it worked before. Oil pressure threshold needs to be set, it didnt need that before on version1.4.The good news Track/Volume change is much faster. Zero to 60 and quarter work on the gauges. I really wish IDATA would work the 2014s as a separate entity since they are having the unique security light and code issues. This is a good start with a ways to go.
FYI unfortunately v1.8 breaks my displayed temperature measurement of Centigrade. It forces my Dakota Digital MLX-8414 gauges into fahrenheit ONLY.
The radio gauges change between F and C, but the Dakota's are F only. Tried v1.6 that also did the same.
So have rolled back to v1.4 (still without my FP3 attached) and the Dakotas are C and I can select either F or C for display on the radio gauges
WTF is going on Idata just released 1.6 on May 30 We were at 1.8 and now 1.6. Which direction are we going
1.8 did make some improvements for myself but I still have the red light on my dash none of the digital gauges work, no left hand volume or cruise control. I did reach out to them as I live close to Montreal to offer my bike to debug on. they dont have access to all the Harley vacations. Mine is a 2015 FLHTK with the thunder Max ECU, I truly believe if they could just get thunder max support done and working this would solve a huge number of client issues and bring in loads of sales from all those people on the fence. I truly thought it was working and I thought more than once now that i bought about uninstalling everything I just spent money on and put back the Stock stuff until it truly works. 1.8 is heading in the right direction but at this rate sometime next year itll be version 2 . I do need to coordinate with someone there and let them test things out on my bike as I have all usual in common LED updates etc that might add noise on the CANBUS.
