I have a 2017 SE Street Glide with the 14si, Maestro and Boom II. Balance and fader don't work. Spoke with tech support @ Volunteer who told me they are aware and the issue will be corrected with a future firmware upgrade. I have no issue with the gauges and have a Thunder Max iRide system.

I've been away on vacation but still following this thread so here's my take on the Soundstream. I have it installed on my 2014 SGS with ThunderMax tuner and love it so far. I don't need all the gauge info as I get all I need on my Dakota Digital gauges, so have those turned off on the Soundstream. Sounds awesome through a Soundigital 1200x4 amp & 6 Diamond audio speakers.

Confirmed! It is the latest update! Supposedly it’s a fix for gear indicator…..? However, Samantha at Volunteer Audio wasn’t 100% sure. But!!!!! She did say that iData link is meeting with them in July, to hopefully fix the Thundermax issue!!!! No guarantee, but, they are working on it.

settings in the radio, change English to Metric
....however the bug I found (post #146) was anything higher than v1.4 of the module, meant it forced my dash gauges into English only (and I don't want that)
v1.4 gives me metric on the dash, English on the radio gauges (best of both worlds)

Just to update. I did pull the trigger on the si model from volunteer. Went in a 15 road glide. Not sure what firmware the module is on, but have zero issues in terms of abs/engine stuff. Only hiccup I had was randomly during rides, a message of 5psi oil pressure warning would come on. But when I would watch the gauge; it would never fluctuate that much. So I just assume its some blip and just turned off the warning. Went on a 1000 mile trip last week and it preformed amazingly, even during multiple downpours.
