The only thing 1.5 does is delay the OB2 data so you can start the bike. If you put the gauges on the display Your gonna get DCT's. This is my advice disable the OB2 data in the motorcycle info screen and use the radio all the features. The radio is pretty nice and everything works perfectly Im even using wireless car play. If you need help PM me and you can call me I dont mean to toot my own horn But Im working with one of the best installers in the country So if you have any questions feel free to contact me. Good Luck with your new radio.
I have a 2014 SGS and wanted the gauges on the screen. If that is not working still, should I just get the regular SoundStream vs paying for this version of it? My main desires over the Sony 7000 I have today are the brighter screen, water protection, and the gauges. Should I just get the standard SoundStream radio?
Thats up to you. The SI is a pretty nice radio If you go with the plus you'll lose your oil pressure in lbs and all you have is the warning light. Also you wont have XM radio. In time Idata will have a fix. Besides the setbacks I think the SI was the right choice for me
One quick thing If you get the SI Get a RR2 Much easier flashing by bluetooth

The only problem with the maestro RR2 is in order to use the Bluetooth feature you have hit a button on the device to activate the Bluetooth. Meaning you still have to open the fairing. Just an FYI for anyone considering the RR2
So the question I have is how do you disable the gauges/OBD two from the soundstream.? Does anyone have a video or a step-by-step that can help those of us who do not know this procedure? Thank you.
I plan on ordering one in the next couple of weeks. While I don't think this issue will effect, I would expect them to get it fixed in the near future.
I got to play with one and I found the volume control to the "slow". and what I mean by that is if you try and go from 0 volume to say 30 volume... you either click it 30 times, or you hold it up and it has a delay...... and then it rolls up but not terribly fast. Is there a setting or a way to change the volume adjustment. Can you make it where 1 thumb click moves the volume up 2 or 3 at a time? Or a way to get rid of the delay or speed up the volume adjustment?
I guess I'm used to the stock GTS radio that only has... 14? adjustments. so it only takes 14 clicks on you are at full volume. So if you needed to turn the volume down somewhat quickly you don't have to hold and wait, or click it so many times. Just curious.

Or you could just use the mute button.
My only real complaint is that in order to skip to the next track, you have to hold the button for half a second instead of just pressing like on the GTS.

arent these options you can change in the maestro rr? I thought with the rr each button has up to 2 functions and you can pick a choose what they do by either quick hit vs long hold.
