Okay, I was able to get my original FP3 to work by disconnecting the Maestro RR and the HDHU.14SI head-unit. Now I have to figure out why my bike won't start. After setting up a map from the FP3 the bike won't start. It will turnover but it won't fire up...on to another thread, I guess.
Im ready to pull the trigger on the HDHu14si but this is concerning. 2015 RG special with power vision. Hoping the OP will update when there is a fix.
HDHU14si Installed On my 2014 Street Glide-Issue Fixed
I had the HDHU14si installed on my 2014 SG by a vendor in Daytona during bike week. After the install, the red security light stayed on and the bike was difficult to start at times. After reading this thread and other online information, I brought my bike back to the installer in Daytona. The installer called Maestro tech support who advised they were aware of the issue for the 14 SG's. Maestro said there was no update at that time but suggested a work around for the issue. Maestro instructed the installer to go into the gauges settings on the radio and simply turn off the gauges. After this was done, the red security light went off and my bike starts every time without an issue. It should also be mentioned that I have a power commander installed on my bike and everything is working fine now. I'm sure Maestro will correct this issue and push an update soon, I could care less about looking at the gauges screen if everything else on the radio works....its a great radio.

I agree. I know my bike is newer but the gauges problem is a non-issue for me, nice to have but not a need to have.
Can anyone confirm if turning off the gauges is a viable work around on 2014 bikes? I ordered mine & was planning to install on Sat but don't want to waste my time if it won't work.
The only thing 1.5 does is delay the OB2 data so you can start the bike. If you put the gauges on the display Your gonna get DCT's. This is my advice disable the OB2 data in the motorcycle info screen and use the radio all the features. The radio is pretty nice and everything works perfectly Im even using wireless car play. If you need help PM me and you can call me I dont mean to toot my own horn But Im working with one of the best installers in the country So if you have any questions feel free to contact me. Good Luck with your new radio.
