Just upgraded to 2.0. The security light does not come on when you switch to gauges. No oil pressure alert is no longer in the menu. Got to see if the gear indicator works yet. I keep you guts updated
Updated bike last night. Security light is out like Dr len stated. Rode bike to work this morning and check engine light is on code 1510. This is limited performance mode and associated with throttle grip sensor. I have been riding the **** out of the bike with no issues. Going to go back to my other version and see if software is causing it, or I have a real problem.
I'm on 1.8 and still having the issue of having to pull the radio fuse each time I flash the bike with a tune, even though they say it was fixed. Maybe the latest and greatest firmware will fix that finally.
With the OBDll comm on for the digital gauge readings to work, I get a check engine light with a DTC U0100 lost communication with ECM. When I disable the OBDll communications on the head unit it goes away and operates normal. Bike is 2014 Ultra Limited. I am guessing the unit is somehow interrupting communication with in the can bus system to pull inputs for the digital gauge operation on the head unit. Anyone else experience this? I am working with volunteer audio to find a solution.
one time I had this problem and unplugged the ECU and under the seat and plugged it back up real good and made sure the wire was laying down I've never had that problem again the seat was hitting the hitting the plug
I don't have a dog in this fight, but did you guys see the new video Jay from Volunteer put out about strides they made with making the SS and the Maestro work how it should?
I have a 2020 SG with a plugged in FP3. I'm thinking of Getting the SI because as of now I have a standard radio and it's a pain. Do I need to unplug my FP3? I don't change my tunes. The gauges are not important for me to use but I do want to use the alerts especially for the low fuel. I will be using android auto to Bluetooth my phone but may also use a USB and or XM radio. Depends, because I live in Southern Arizona. Surrounded by mountains and lose Bluetooth. At this point which toggles can I use to skip tracks and adjust volume. Waiting a half second is not a big deal, I have a Wild boar audio system in the fairing only. I went through this whole post and just watched that last volunteer video. Are there anymore updates since this 2.1? Are there any other concerns I need to be aware of before I make this purchase?

I just put the HDHU14.si in my 2017 tri glide. We finished a 3200 mile road trip with it last week. It was flashed with v1.9 when I received it. It worked perfectly for the trip. The only issue I had was with the CP/AA Mirror. It froze my navigation a few times using carplay so I switched to a cord to my phone for the rest of the trip. I have a FP3 too and unplugged it because I wanted the gauges on the head unit. The low fuel warning came up once on our trip. Its interesting how it counts down the remaining miles. The hand controls work perfectly for changing tracks, volume or moving around the screen to make selections.
