The 2.1 firmware caused my security light to come on when the gauges were being used and threw code U0184h, which never happened with any of the other firmware. Still have to pull the fuse to flash a tune to it despite saying it was fixed. Just flashed the latest 2.2 and we'll see what happens.
which fuse are you having to pull, can't you put a bigger fuse in?

That's not the point. The Maestro/radio is locking the computer to its self and not allowing the tuner to flash the ecm, so you need to pull the radio fuse to allow the connection for the tuner.

How often of you had to do that. There's no other way other than unplugging the tuner? I'm no Eletronic wizard, but i thought once you flash your system with the turn you can unplug it. Or are you changing tunes a lot?

Depends on your tuner, I'm using the PV and running auto tune to dial it in. Each time I flash an updated tune, I have to pull the fuse for the radio to cut that connection so the tuner can access the ecm. That's the only time I need to do that. My gripe is that iDataLink said that you no longer need to do that after firmware 1.7 or so, since the only time the connection from the radio is made is when the gauges screen is up. But that's not the case for me, that connection is always active no matter what screen I'm on.

And that's if you keep it plugged in? I thought i saw somewhere that you can't keep it plugged in. or something like that, but that's was only on install until you do the bypass sequence. I have an FP3.

You only need to keep it pugged in during auto tune sessions to record data. After you flash with either FP3 or PV, you can remove the device and not have to plug it back in unless you want to flash again or view live data, I have both and they works the same in this regard. I suggest you visit the Tuner section of this forum and read up on how to use these devices.
Just had the Soundstream HDHU 14si installed in my 2020 Street Glide. Finally got it paired, it kept saying HD radio so i had to do a little search in my phone for the soundstream. Got the day month and year, even the time. Can use XM radio through the app on my phone. Have it linked to my usb. I can listen to music BT also from my phone. The EQ woke my new sound system UP, like night and day. Now i had my phone plugged in like it says but it won't connect to Android Auto. My phone has it on there but it has to be searched for as the icon is not on the screen. How do i get this to connect so i can use maps and other icons?
there hasn't been an app 'icon' since 2021, its technically called Google Assistant driving mode and its built in now
but if you go to settings on your phone and search for AUTO, you'll see the Android Auto settings screen where you can make various changes.
When you connect the HU you should be getting a notification on the phone that wants you to confirm application privileges
which you'll need to grant on the handset, do you get that? (appears at the drop down top of screen).
You may also need to change the USB Preferences option when the cable is attached to use Android Auto (it gives you File Transfer/Android Auto, USB tethering, MIDI, PTP, no data trans)
what droid and version?
does AA work on any other vehicle you use?
when its working the moment you attach it will auto launch Android Auto on the head unit and show the various apps and maps etc
