Default Audio Newbie. Please Help!

I have a 2013 Road Glide. I bought the bike used and it had no head unit or speakers in it. So just to get something into it, I got the Rockford Fosgate PMX-HD9813 head unit with the Rockford Fosgate TMS6RG fairing speakers. It was a local shop that had the package for $700 together.

I have watched a ton of videos, read some forums and threads and have some questions.

I want to swap to some DB Drive speakers and add a Sound Digitial Evo 800.4 amp. I may go with some bag lid 6x9's down the road but have no need for those right now.

Outside of the speakers, amp, speaker adapters to mount and an amp wiring kit... do I need anything else. I have seen some mentions of line output converter, do I need that with the Rockford head unit?. Are there better equipment options that pair up better with that head unit?

Looking for any and all advice/suggestions!

Thanks in advance

The headunit should have came with a plug with rca 's on one end. This plugs into the headunit behind a little plate you have to remove if I remember right. Then you can use rca's to connect to the amp. Without needing a line out converter.

That was my first thought. I did look at the Euphoria Xperts as well.

I would go with something else if they are going to be your only speaker. They are a good speaker, just not very warm sounded at all when they are solo.

If you're looking for one of the best (to my ears) coax fairing speaker right now, would be the Euphoria EX6NPS-CF. They are nice.
They EX6NCX are nice well, but not as warm as the NPS. But would work well as fairing only setup.

Keep in mind, if you add lid speakers down the road, that 800.4 will be light on power for all 4 speakers.
