Default Bill at Biketronics is awesome!

I have been researching audio upgrades for sometime now. I kept going back to Biketronics. I finally called this week. Bill spent approx 45 min of time with me on the phone over 2 phone calls. He is very friendly and knowledgable. After our coversations I decided to go with Biketronics.

Bill told me about a brand new speaker they have just designed with the help of Hybrid Audio Technology. It is not listed on the web site yet. It is called the 7.1. It is a 7inch speaker that is high end and borrows tech from HAT higher end speakers. So the system we put together is this:
-BT2180 amp
- 7.1 speakers in fairing
- Tittan II 6.5 speakers in Lowers

I will be running these in parallel which should give me about 120 watts rms per channel so 480 total.
Bill is making me a custom harness at no charge to make it an easy install.

I am keeping stock HU for now, waiting to see Dragonflys new HU, and not touching rear speakers at this time.

Like I said I can't say enough about how Helpful Bill has been. Oh and did I mention lifetime warranty.

Only what Bill told me on the phone. It is the first speaker that they have engineered themselves using some of HAT high end speaker technology. I believe he said they were close in specs to HAT level IV and V speakers. I think they are rated around 120 rms and 250 peak. That may not be exact but close. He said there is a big improvement in low end performance also.

+1 on Bill and his customer service. I originally went with a almost identical set up as the OP but I couldn't fit the 6'5's in the lowers with the AC I am using. They took them back and sent out 6X9's for my lids. Made all the harnesses and included everything needed for a easy install.

Hey Molar, sounds like an awesome set up! I also think Bill is the best, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly ect. You'll love those HAT's, I got the Titan II's in the lowers and the 6x9's in the lids, they ROCK! Sounds like the new speakers, the 7" will kick ***! Good luck on the new system. I would like to swap out my S.S. Nano for the BT 4x !80 rms amp but at this time is a little bit expensive, at $650. Let us know how you like it when you fire it up. How much are the 7"'s going for.
