I want to upgrade my head unit to one that has Bluetooth so I can play my songs that way instead of a cable do you think that would be a problem?

not at all. If you upgrade your head unit though, remember that you'll need to go with either the Biketronics or Hawg-Wired handlebar control modules to retain your controls. Sony, Alpine, Kenwood seem to be the most compatible with either of these kits.

Just a few thoughts:

Are you 100% sure the antenna is properly connected to the head unit?

How is your amp mounted above the head unit? Mine is setting on some 3M Dual-Lock, so there isn't any metal to metal contact between the amp & head unit. I believe that UltraNutZ bracket also keeps the two separated. I'm wondering if problems can occur if the cases are making contact?

Ultra did the install, I'm pretty sure it's correct.

you'll need the BT kit to retain handlebar controls. It also comes with the mounting kit for the radio. If you're purchasing a Sony head unit, then make sure to get the Sony wiring harness adapter from BT so everything will be plug and play and no wiring necessary.
