This was a similar question I put to Ultra as I may at some point go to 4 speakers. Why not just go with what a lot of people would tell you works well? A soundsteeam pn4.520 and a set of Mm651's. After lots of q's back and forth it was gleened that I can use just fronts for now, and go 4 later. These guys on here have tried most everything.

Ok.. heres the master plan.... fairing speakers and an amp this year and hopefully speaker lids next year... im not the richest person on the planet and there are a lot of other things I spend $ on besides my bike...

1.) They're making a ton of money selling the stuff and
2.) They don't know any better. They're all parts changers and require no brains or thought process behind what they're doing.
Most of these shops now-a-days want the easy and quick way out at making money and that's exactly what they're doing with these setups. Slap it in, send the customer on his/her way, and pocket a profit. Nothing wrong with pocketing a profit but at the expense of an unhpappy, non-returning customer; I say no thanks. If I had a shop and did this for a living, profits would be important but so would customer service and my friend there is no better customer service than seeing a return customer pull up to your shop especially toting a friend behind him.
Being rich hasn't a thing to do with anything here and precisely the reason folks like GP, HPM, and Myself, and others woke this audio forum up from a dead sleep a few months back. Sure there are folks here that go all out and spend 1000s on audio setups but they're few and far between. Most folks that come here are looking for 1 thing and 1 thing only. BEST SETUP THEY CAN GET FOR THE $ THEY WANT TO SPEND, some proper instruction on how to install it, and they get free technical support from knowledgable people to boot! Sounds like a plan in my book.
All we're trying to tell you here is a LOT better quality can be had for less money if you're willing to take the time to do it and learn a little as you go. If you want the plug and play stuff, go for it.. After all it is your money and time and no one can put a value on that other than you.

The RF or any other non "motorcycle ready" amp is not a "plug and play" solution. If you want that sir, you get exactly what you pay for (or in most cases, you don't get what you pay for). Your locals are pushing the product for 2 reasons.

Ultra could you get 2 of the SS PN.350D's in a Batwing? on their spec page they seem small enough and youre the guy that has one or did you get two? LOL. 4.75w 1.5 h 5.5 l is that correct?

the dimensions are correct and yes I don't see why you couldn't get 2 in there.
I'd be kind of curious to know why you wouldn't simply go with the PN4.520D. That's plenty of power for anything you'll be doing in a 4 channel footprint.
