Seem like many here believe it is "amp1=no, amp2=no, spkr=8 and it is the same recommended by Rockford Fosgate for their PBR 300x2. Does anyone know what are the factory (original) settings? Is it "amp1=no, amp2=no, spkr=2 ?

Has anyone found the correct flash for the 14 limited..
If HD can't figure out their own BA Stage 1 and Stage 2 proper flashes without breaking something else then I guess the answer to your question would be a resounding no. It's a clusterf*ck to say the least.

well if you don't mind sir and if MH knows something the rest of the world doesn't know about these pos infotainment systems by all means, please share it with us.

Well son, I'm sure if asked they would be more than happy to assist those in the dark.
you seem to be clueless to the fact that even HD techs are "in the dark" with all of this. MOCO engineers/R&D need to pull their pants up and stop taking it up the a$$ from the bean counters and fix the problems they've created in trying so desperately to exclude aftermarket products from being used on these CUSTOMER OWNED bikes to the point that they've broken their own products. And once again because the MOCO has no clue what to do about it, how do you expect the techs to know what to do about it? After-all their instructions come from a Digital Tech device that get's it's info from the MOCO. There's some ingenuity for ya from the MOCO.
None of this is directed at you so don't take it so personally. Just a very frustrating experience for all involved.. customers who pay top dollar for these things AND THEY OWN THEM NOT HARLEY, independent shops who try to make those frustrated HD customers happy, and then the poor HD techs who are caught in the middle of all this.

and to further this conversation, not that you want to hear it since you own one of these;
I've got some preliminary 2D drawings from both Fairing Factory and Muzatu who are both in stages of development on the 2-speaker and 4-speaker versions of the inner fairings to replace the 14+ stock inner fairings (both batwing and roadglide) and accepts double-din aftermarket head units. Once that's done you will see these crappy audio setups, 4.3 and the 6.5 with that frustrating GPS unit up for sale on the cheap; hell people will be lucky to get .05 on the dollar for this stuff just like all the previous Kaboom Audio stuff has proven to demand.
I just bought a 4.3 unit from a 15 SG for $81 and if everything works out I'll have a 6.5 unit for less than $150 out of a 14 FLHTK.
4.3 is a $985 unit from HD
6.5 is a $1850 unit from HD.
How's a 1000+% loss to get rid of something that's supposed to be the next generation of "Advanced Audio" and performs WAY below par even by Audiovox and Jensen standards.
I would have never expected this kind of crap from one of the most prominent "kings of audio" like Harmon International.

Preach on brother..maybe someone will finally listen something so simple is being made so hard.just tell us how to cut the crap off and I think the aftermarket stuff will work just fine.Some people claim they have done this.just cannot tell us how to do it.it's just a shame to pay that kind of money for this kind of aggravation.
