I was hoping someone could help me with some info on what goes where on the install on my 14 SGS. I bought the setup a bunch of you have done, the RF amp, the Infinity 92.11i speakers and the magic box. I installed the speakers in the inside of the pods and when I unhooked the + & - wires off the old speakers I clipped the connectors off and added spade terminals to them and screwed those onto the infinity's. I hope that was the way to do it or am I supposed to run new wires from the infinity's to the amp? Now is the part I really cant figure out at all and I must tell you I have never done any electronic installs before, but I'm capable of following any directions anyone can give me. I have the amp mounted and I know to run a power and ground wire back to my battery and run a remote wire to the power port on the fairing. After that I'm completely lost. What gets hooked to what, where does the magic box get hooked into, the amp had 2 plug-ins in the box but which one gets plugged into which end of the amp and what gets soldered on to the ends and what gets hooked to the head unit. As you can see I haven't got a clue and understand if maybe someone thinks I should maybe take it somewhere and have them finish it up for me. But if anyone has the time to give me a list of what hooks to what I know I can do this. My bike is sitting in the garage apart and I want to try to get it back together today if possible. Thank you in advance for any info anyone can give me.

take a look at the wiring diagram on this J&M Corp PDF http://www.jmcorp.com/pdf/JAMP-500HC...ual10-2013.pdf ,,,,,, let me know if this helps you understand the connections as they might apply to your R/F amp ,,,,,,

I heard the "magic box" has plug-n-play connectors on the ends of its wires ?

Wow, it sounded like John was simply trying to help out. I do not see anything wrong with that.

This is the second post recently where JMJohn was offering advice and not pushing his products. I appreciate that John.

this is from earlier posts that I had made. I
have a 400x4 amp a magic box with the front speaker connectors. Ed from Cycle Sound told me to connect the magic box to the infotainment center front speaker leads and to connect that to RCAs with a splitter 1 into 2 conected to your amp and out to your front and rear speakers as long as you don't mind losing your fader control from front to back. For this set up no flash is required However if you want your fader you have to buy two magic boxes. One for the front and the other for the rear. And for this set up you must get your system fashed for a four speaker set up. I hope that helps you out.

It's all about customization or personalization. I have been upgrading sound systems in my cars and trucks for years. Now we have an opportunity to upgrade the audio on bikes.

After several hours of reading I am not completely enlightened. I have been educated that this upgrade/personalization is not going to be very easy. Up to now, I haven't heard anyone say they completely love their new sound. There is always a small issue. What is definite, there are some issues with John and J&M. Although, I am starting to look in that direction if from what I read the installation is simple. Because initially I was leading towards Biketronics. And who knows, maybe I am still there? They do as of now have the 2014 kits. But I have some more reading to do if these kits are simple or require major tuning and modification on installation. I only purchased my 2014 Sand Camo SGS a month ago and have dropped several thousand $$$ to get more black on it than chrome. So the next big purchase is this stereo. So please keep the information pouring in. My plan is to always have a two speaker system.
