Default 2014 saddlebag lids

Im getting the HD saddle bag lids for my 14, minus the 5x7 speakers from HD. Can I fit in 6x9 in there with adapters or am I stuck getting aftermarket 5x7/6x8 in there. Also lets say I can only use 5x7 in there will placing 6x9 inside the bags sound good in conjunction with the the lid speakers.

Jc, Check out Biketronics 6x9's great speakers and adaptors. Or you can use a aftermarket 6x9 and get adaptors to use with them. I personally do not know who makes adaptors but I'm sure some one on here will.

you will be surprised at how close these J&M ROKKER XX 5X7s will sound compared to 6X9s ,,,,,,,, and in some cases they will even outperform them ,,,,,, http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....ID=HSDR-5X7-14 ,,,,,,

Glacier ,,,,,,

subs are in an entirely different class ,,,, as they are tuned for the low freqs ONLY and generally will not be heard much on the highway ,,,,,,,,,,

the new J&M 5X7" lid speakers on the other hand are full range speakers, that produce almost as much bass response from the saddlebag lid position as the J&M 7.25" ROKKERs ,,,,,,

I tried a pair of 6X9" POLKs the other day in a set of hog-Tunes lids, their Marine series and they were no way near either of the J&M ROKKER XX lid speakers in volume or performance on the highway ,,,, but I do know from my car stereo days that there ARE some very good 6X9" speakers out there ,,,,,,
