Head Unit Opinion Question
I've narrowed my head unit down to either a Sony MEX-GS610BT or a Kenwood x-598. Anyone running either of these and have any pro's or cons? Kenwood has 4v vs Sony's 5v pre-outs. I like the Rear USB on the Sony, but its not a make or break deal. Just wondering if anyone is running either of these and either loves it or hates it?
The rest of my system is just BT 7.1's in the fairing with a BT2180 amp driving them.

I had a sonydsx- s310btx did not like it the volume *** flopped around to much . Very hard to use. I now have a kenwood kdc-x798 . I love it alot of color options. It looks clean. I do have a rear usb cable that runs up into my bags . My uncle is running the sony mex-gs610bt after he saw mine and and heard the difference. He asked me to get him one on line 209.00 not a bad price at all . Look into it I dont think you will be disappointed. I am running the same amp but I have the pro 7.1 bt

Pro's the tweeters are on a bracket outside the speaker, none pro's the tweeter comes through the middle of the speaker. If yours are more then a couple weeks old you probably don't have the pro's, they just came out.

I guess that would make sense I have a 06 street glide . Good to know they will not fit a road glide.

I talked to bill and he said they are working on an adapter to get them to fit in the road glide, but it isn't there yet.
