Like pretty much everyone I have changed stock parts off my bike for aftermarket stuff. Right now, I have stock mufflers and all stock lights off my 2012 Limited that are just taking up space. Does anyone sell their stock parts and if we all accessorize with aftermarket stuff, is there a market for stock parts?
I'll say I've bought some exhaust takeoffs that had Fullsac baffles installed. There is a market for those loking to refresh old parts, and although smaller market, there is a win for you as a Canadian to sell [ship to] a Canadian.
I'm sure it's a bit of an issue to not get lost in the US Classified ads. Maybe if you said "Canadian Touring Parts" or something..?
I should sell some Canadian parts also. I've got some 09+ touring stuff I could potentially sell - and get some cashflow for summer trips [beer] and new parts.
I always ended up keeping it and passing it on to the next owner when I sold the bike. Not much market for a stock seat, mufflers, handlebars, headlight or fenders.

Yes, I've sold take-off parts before. Sold the stock headlight off my Road King (I upgraded to LED) and two sets of stock mufflers. Also sold a stock seat and a few other minor items.
Throw them on Kijiji like I did, you might find a taker.
