Default How much would you pay?

Okay ya'll I have a question?? I am thinking about starting my own HD wash and detailing from my home. And when I mean detail... I am pretty **** about every piece of the bike sparkling to the point where there is a bright glare.

Who better to ask than ya'll on what a person would pay to have their bike cleaned and detailed?... ya'll.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

A local retired guy does that in my town.

Charges by the hour.

Friend's Ultra cost $165 to detail, another friend's Road King cost $150.

Both bikes looked great. But one ride in a litle rain and it's all gone.

Personally I'd rather do it myself.

Thanks for responding Sammi. WOW!! That is a lot, I am looking at charging a lot less, with results that last longer then one day, other than the bug junk. I am in Washington County, MD and I don't know of anyone local who does HD detailing; so I was looking at getting some responses to give me an idea.

Thanks again

Ya'll gonna give us a sample of what you do when we're out campin at your place next weekend? j/k
Personally tho, I'm to cheap to pay someone to detail my bike, I can start out thinkin I'll just give it a quick wash and dry, then I find a spot... then a water spot, then this piece of chrome doesn't shine like that piece... Before ya know it I've spent the entire day cleaning the bike when I should be riding. So now I ride dirty [8D]. Maybe tho, if I had one of those bike that you take to shows and stuff and something came up and just flat out didn't have time, then maybe I'd consider it... Still don't know that I'd pay more'n about $50 or so tho

The last detailing I paid for was at Mytrle Beach. The college chick wearing a string something did a great job washing me bike, lol. My two buddies and I got our bikes washed and dried. I must admit the tip was more than the bill, lol.

Paid $100 for my Fatboy to be detailed last week. A brotha down town cleans em for $65 to $85 depending on the ride and how much attention it needs. I usea differentguy because he comes to me and I have known him a long time.
