H-D wheel & tire cleaner.I have used it since bike was new and engine looks great.just spray it on and hose off.I must add that I clean often and have not had to deal with any bad stains.it is a powder coat.

I use Gunk engine degreaser on a warm motor and a brush I got at a show that fit in all the crevices. Also I bought a $3 paint brush to help. Wash it completely out. Always looks good after I air dry it.

Do you just use the spray on or foam. There are 4 or 5 different ones want to use the one with best results.

Thanks

I was at my wits end. Tired of the stains on my natural finish EVO. Just tried it on a few spots and I could not believe the difference. I used Cameo stainless and aluminum cleaner. Wet the engine. Sprinkle it on and make a paste. Work it around with a toothbrush and rinse. Dont let the paste dry. The difference was night and day!! You can find it in the kitchen cleaners isle at your grocery store.

What he said or a good degreaser and a stiff brush.Whatever you do DO NOT USE ACID BASED WHEEL CLEANER!It may look great at first but this will actually cause corrosion in the long run.Ive used these acid cleaners on metals for 15 years at my workplace.Ive seen what it can do.
