I'm getting ready to put 2 overs on my bike. I ordered these new tubes, below, by HardDrive - they're stupid cheap (less than half the price of Custom Cycle Engineering tubes, for example) and still hard chrome. They also sell them as an assembly with damper and springs.

Anyone have any experience with them yet?
No experience one these tubes. It wouldn't surprise me if these are Showa tubes and these guys buy in quantity enough that they can charge a lower price.. One thing to note as your sig say 2002 FXDXT is that these tubes probably won't work with the damping mechanism in your stock forks. Stock DXs and DXTs use a cartridge fork where the internal mechanism controls the length of the fork.. You would need to either extend the damping rod/ needle rod or space up the bottom part of the damper in the lower fork tube.. You could revert back the FXD damper but should probably thread the damper tube to 10x1.25.. as the DX lowers use a 10mm bolt instead of an 8mm.
I might have some info on Franks later on today.. I'll post up what I find.. A friend of mine tells me that he merged with another company or something like that...
Good news fellas, Frank's forks was absorbed by Chopper supply LLC in Mississippi.. Their phone number is 662-449-0956.. I just got off with Greg, he's been doing business as a vendor for Frank's for decades and he decided to take them over because the kids didn't want the business anymore..
So there you go Frank's custom tubes are still around...
