definitely call fuel moto, because you have an improper tune. i have the same pipes and have almost no difference in fuel usage compared to stock

Man he can't just call fuel moto he has a s.e.s.t from harley, and a harley dealer dyno tuned his bike. They DO NOT take sest's back at harley davidson you bought it it's yours and that's it.

You need to research who is an expert in tuning with the SEST in your area. Even if you have to travel a couple of hours or more it's worth finding someone who really knows that system and how to use it. Just because someone (dealer or indie) has a dyno and a dyno operator doesn't mean they're any good.

Here is some updated info from today. I was getting the decreased fuel range using the digital range display on the bike. Today I got an actual highway mpg of 41mpg. This was the exact same mpg as my buddy on a 2014 street Bob with slip-ons, stock filter and tune. We both filled our tanks at the same gas station, rode about 45 minutes down the highway and pulled into another gas station. My bike range display read 150 miles left until empty and his read 170 miles until empty. When we filled the tanks again my bike only took an extra .002 gallons to fill compared to his. Why would my range read be off by 20 miles compared to his stock bike, but get the same mpg?

You answered your own question. You relied on your fuel gauge. These are not accurate or consistent from one bike to another. Having a digital readout doesn't mean that a low tech mechanical set up got any better.
Now that you figured out what your real mileage is, you should rely on your odometer to tell you when to fill up.

I'd say that's not too far off when talking about fuel senders on two different bikes, even same model and year. The range to empty uses info from the sender and some fuzzy logic. Since the amounts of gas are so small (think about how much gas it takes to go 20 miles), I'd say its just a question of learning your bike and gauge, as its not so far out of whack.
