Flashing rear lights on start up.

Flashing rear lights on start up.
01 Low rider. When the I turn on ignition. The rear turn signals blink. Then the left rear light goes out. The turn signal works when I push the button, but the left rear "running light"(???) is not on.
Anyone?

(I switched bulbs. Same issue. Checked fuse. Checked wires. etc)

One more bump.
OK. I found my rear tire rubbed on the wires. So I re-wrapped the exposed wires. Still on start up they will blink & the light turns back off.
The turn signal works...but not the running light.

broken wire...
I'm not trying to say I know what's going on but the electrical problems are usually near the connectors. i have had litle connectors corrode on my 2008 already!

Yes. It's something strange. The turn signal works, just not the running light.
I'm going to start checking the front connectors I guess. Maybe one came loose or something? (plus I am the one who wired them when I ran the wires through the bars.... user error! user error!
