Finally installed an ignition switch on the tank console....... Got mine from Eastern Performance on Ebay. Really nice folks, best price I found, and prompt delivery, too.
I wired my switch in series with the factory frame switch (more secure that way). I used the battery-to-switch wire (red). I have future plans for the extra contact I gained on the new switch, doing it this way.
After this mod, I now know how to ride any Harley I want, without a key......
Think I'm goin' to buy a wheel lock, now.
I'll upload pictures when Verisucks gets me a dialup faster n 9.6K.[:@][:@][:@][:@]

Why would you wire it in series? That kind of defeats the purpose - doesn't it? You still have to put your key in and turn it on, then turn the new switch as well. I don't get it.
