Primary upgrade time!
Baker milled ~ .040" off the flange side of the extension which is the most they like to take off to keep the flange strong. The adjustment puts within spec, my comp side is still about .020" "proud" but that's fine.
Now I have done this about 3 times before but not with the Bandit clutch. With the HD style clutch I always had all the friction and steel plates in along with the pressure plate but you cannot have the Bandit pressure plate on while installing that clutch nut...
Anyway pulled everything back off and tomorrow I leave for a 4 day trip so I figured I would let you guys slap me back in gear
****Update: I watched a "Fix My Hog" video and learned that you can torque down the clutch nut without the pressure plate installed. Just need to go ahead and install all the steel and friction plates with a helper holding the rear brake. Back in buisness!****

Checking stack height - you measure from the last friction plate to the end of the teeth on the clutch center hub. Should be .180" to .300", mine was .190" - a little on the "thick" side but within tolerance.
Next you install the pressure plate. There is an index mark on the clutch hub teeth area and another index mark on the back of the pressure plate, these marks need to be lined up for perfect alignment - there is NO reference to this in the instructions, you can see the mark in this pic at the 6:30 o'clock position on the hub:
The Bandit comes with 2 different sets of springs, gold and gray. Most of the 124" guys use the grey while the gold ones with a few shims(included) are good for a 107". John MaGee from Bandit recommended 3 or 4 shims with the gold springs. I tried 4 shims first but I had great difficulty trying to compress all that in far enough to engage the threads of the retaining screws, so I went with 3 shims and was able to get all the springs/shims in:
Next using a clamping dial indicator, you want to check the total travel of the pressure plate. The goal is .070" and I was coming up short - about .062" so what I did was readjust the pushrod adjusting screw by only backing out 1/2 turn instead of a full turn recommended in the instructions. After doing the 1/2 turn I was right at .070".
Last check has you using the dial indicator to insure the runout of the pressure plate is no more than .010". You can adjust the spring retaining screws a bit if needed. Mine was good but I did tweak it a little:

I have some more time available tomorrow but on Friday I leave to go on a small family type trip followed by another 4 day work trip. Really hoping to get a quick ride in before I leave....

Thanks! I am just about to try out your Play-Doh tip for the Baker comp.
So far everything about the Bandit has been impressive, I called them and John was extremely helpful and spent a fair amount of time just talking about the Bandit history etc, the packaging was A+, the quality of all the parts seems great, and the adjustability is amazing - getting excited to test drive it.
