As an fyi, contemporary off-road and ADV bikes with ABS have the ability to disable the ABS, precisely because you don't want ABS in dirt or gravel.
Didn't know that, and it does make sense. Do you know if they can be disabled altogether so to speak?
I realize there is nothing that can be implemented that is perfect for every situation.
I do think ABS is better overall though. My bike does not have it (or anything fancy for that matter)
