Totally agree with the exhaust. I've fitted forward controls and its much better, I'm 6.4. Unfortunately cant spend any more on the bike at the moment due to a 14K bathroom reno that I couldn't put off.
...The bike I was on and the one my buddy was on both had spongy front brakes. Fun ride.
Mine started that way but now that it's got about 350 miles both the front and rear brakes feel much, much better. Takes a while for the pads to bed in I guess.
Anybody know what exhaust is available? I see the Bassani and Supertrapp. What about slip ons? I want a D&D, but not available yet. Vance and Hines says they have nothing yet. I figure something must fit. Thanks.
Just can't stand the lawn mower sound. haha
I really like the RSD Slant I put on, parts guy at the dealership talked me into it and I'm glad he did.
750miles... got an error code. Trying to start bike when it's hot and getting "vinerror" any body had or seen this? Guess it's back to the dealer!!!
You sure it's not the low voltage error? I find the clutch grabs sometimes and the starter draws a lot which will cause that. I've learned to flip to neutral when starting - since doing that no more errors.
I got it the other day. I pushed the start switch after filling up with gas but let off too soon before it could start. I just waited a few seconds and it started fine. The starter is labored more during a hot start so I would think we'll all see that error every now and then. Doesn't bother me unless I get stranded.
