No banjos in that pic. They're just breather bolts from Lowbrow Customs. He's got several styles. I looked high and low for some that weren't too flashy AND were made of steel. I knew I was hanging some weight (so to speak) on them and didn't want to worry about aluminum fatiguing.

I also considered the Kuryakyn Bluegrass banjos but really didn't want the extra clutter.

Except for a few pieces... Kuryakyn and Klutter could be used interchangeably...imo, of course

Yeah. I took about 50 lbs (no exaggeration) of chrome off this bike. A lot of it was Kury. Practically the entire engine/trans was covered in it. No wonder the PO had to install an oil cooler. Poor thing was suffocating in a blanket of stagnant air covered with chrome.

I can't even imagine installing a chrome slider COVER...chrome sliders is one thing, but a COVER?

And to all the Chrome COVER wearers out there...

Sorry, I've been slacking. Between the recent heat wave, son's graduation, and the holiday, I haven't been real available or motivated.

I promise the bike isn't really anything that special. HrdNox's bike makes mine look like garbage! Mine is a mismatched mess this season, or until I can scrape together the parts for the front half. Even when I roll it out of the garage this season, it'll still only be about half done.

I got the bars mostly done: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...onnectors.html

Hopefully it's not too hot in the garage tonight and I can get them finished. I'll snap some pics regardless.

I did get a new helmet and made a basic mod to it...

You guys probably can't use "swamp" coolers (evaporative coolers) out there in Ohio...huh?
