If you're not having fun and making questionable decisions, you got no business owning a Wrangler!
I commited to buy a nice surplus WWII Jeep when I was 16. Got the cash ($400) and went over to the guy's house and he had sold it out from under me the day before. Still kinda pisses me off.
i had some dealership in new york do that. drove up from md to get the car. they knew i was coming... sold the car the day before i got there. i almost went to jail that day.
Hmm...got a paper from the post office that I missed a delivery delivery today. Signature required. What could it be!? The paper just says the sender is "web store". I have several things I'm waiting on. It could be ANYTHING! Maybe my classified alien autopsy files? The special undies from Japan? I won't be sleeping tonight!
Motoscope Mini came in. This thing is dope. Loving it!
Speedo, Tach, odo (fully programmable), trip odo, trip timer, & shift light. LEDs are even dimmable and has a photo sensor for day/night settings. All in a package about the size of a AA battery.
A quick vid of benchtop bootup. No sensors, so no data, but I did play with some of the settings.
How much weight do you think the base parts of these things could hold? Wondering if I could uses the fork leg base parts to mount the fairing I have rather then the brackets that it came with.
The M-Unit replaces all the bike fuses, starter relay, & TSSM, plus adds programmable (flash rate/pattern, brightness, etc.) LED drivers (no more load balancers or resistors), adds a 1 or 2 stage security system (also programmable for sensitivity, etc), and probably a few other things..
The M-Lock is a super simple RFID tag and reader. Programmable to recognize up to three keys/tags. There is an optional "key" that's smaller than an aspirin that could be sewn into a cuff or glove.
Not pretty, but pretty cool...

Good question. I guess I would think around 20 pounds hanging off of one would be about all I would trust. Twisting and vibration would be the killer. The thread depth at the accessory bracket end is pretty shallow. If you were to back it up with a nut...I bet it could take a lot. Not sure how much force the wind applies to a fairing at speed.
