I searched other models that use the 68924-00D and got over 100 hits. Lots of FLH, FLT, & V-Rod. My gut tells me the difference is probably in the mounting provisions, but I wouldn't want to bet your money on it.
Just wanted to say thanks to all who tried to help me out on this. After taking everything apart and putting it back together, it now seems to be working. I think the issues I had were with a very weak battery and interference from the charger/starter I put on it. Once I put the new battery in (second new one) The bike seems to be working. Although now I have that red engine light on all the time. I checked the charging system and it seems to be charging so I guess I've damaged the MAP some how. Anyways it seems to run okay. Thanks
