back pressure
Vance and Hines makes really nice pipes! For performance most guys are going with a 2 into 1 system. V&H also has a power chamber setup now which is a balancing pipe between the pipes that can't be seen from the front. Can't go wrong with V&H!
Everything I've ever heard about running no bafles is that it kills the torque, but works great on race engines running high RPM's! Most guys running drag style pipes that want torque, isntall Torque cones, which fit in the pipe where it bolts on to the heads.
S&S mufflers are louder than an SE II and only have a little back pressure. Just enough to help with the power.
Bassani makes pretty nice stuff, as do others. Another idea is to take your SE II Baffles out and drill a couple of holes in them. [&:][&:]
