If I remember from my BMX days there should be a plastic cap in the center of the pedal that has a nut or bolt head you can tighten down to keep them from free spinning.
well, i went out to test out the gummy paint pedals. i will not be extending anything as long as these things are on my bike.... not sure how long i can tolerate them. the pdeals roll with my feet on shifting/braking activities. kind of weird and the were a few times where my foot almost got caught between the spinning pedal and the shifter/brake pedal. it's better to have nothing over my foot than to get caught in that mix.
they feel better than the pegs but, they scare the s*** out of me. will take time to get used to. almost need a heel toe shifter with these things.
time will tell... definitely not something someone learning to ride would want on their bike.
here you'll notice delayed/long shifts and fumbling:
I'm going forward with micky mouse set up. i think i've got the heavy hitters out of the way.
