Hey, I was thinking about your complaints with the freewheeling nature of you front bear traps. What if you adjusted the spindle nut on those similar to what you did on the mids? Still able to rock but not spin out of control

Coming from a supply chain management roll, I would say that it very well could have just been an engineering decision between production runs. I have had engineers make changes to a bill of materials just after the start of the first production run, but they do not get implemented until the next build.

If it was catastrophic failure that forced the change, I would image, given the importance of the part, that Ness would have issues a recall. Sure, companies hate recalls, but replacing a few hundred brackets is cheaper than lawyers and payouts.
