Good lord these tires... i gave up. The rear went right on but refuses to seat. The front ate a wheel guard (currently in drop center somewhere ) and i cant get the last bit over the lip. Taking them to be mounted tomorrow.
Aw! Sorry the mounting gave you fits. It's definitely a bit of an art. It tokk me quite a bit of cussing and sweating and lost rim guards and flying spoons to figure it out. By the third time, I was no longer cussing or sweating... spoons and protectors are still a pain. I think there must be a trick to the rim protectors I don't know. Or maybe a better design.
Is the rear leaking air? I had to get up to around 70 psi before the beads seated on mine...but I was using tubes, so no leaks around the bead.

There was plenty of sweaing and crying. I got the rear up to 50psi then backed off before Hamfist showed up. No air leaking but, i could see where it was uneven.
on the front.. once the wheel guard went in to the abyss, i knew Hamfist was in the building. Time to stop. I will shamefully hand the job over...
Hamfist. Nice. I never named my angry side. Fortunately I've spent 30 years working on cantankerous old industrial machines and training idiots how to break them a bit less. It has served to enhance my patience...but sometimes, man....sometimes...
