I think you will find it blends in !...b.

I have been using the HD quick release hardware but did not like the windshield as it was too tall and I was always looking through it. Replaced the plastic with a Clearview Shields screen with recurve. They have varying height and width and you can have a vent installed if you are concerned about buffeting.

See I wanted mine taller cause of the 16 apes, the shorter one didn't do anything. Forgive me for asking a stupid question, but what is bufetting? I've never had any problems with mine, even at higher speeds

Buffeting is where the wind coming around the windscreen or fairing still hits you in an undesired area, usually hitting the helmet over the top or in the lower body or chest coming from below.

More importantly, leaving the hardware on is giving corrosion a place to harbor.
Using the HD detatch system removes everything for easy cleaning too.

I just picked up and installed a HD brand Quick-Release Compact Windshield Part Number 58706-09. It works great and I am happy with the job it does so far around town under 45mph. I haven't gone highway speeds yet but my opinion would probably not matter here. My highway speed is 55 or 60 not 90. Keeps the bugs and road crap off me and thats all I wanted. It is a well designed windshield and pops on and off easily with no hardware left behind. I don't care it makes me look old.
