I am no expert Frederic, but I think the only way is to re open the engine and make sure of the clearance. One thing I saw on the installation instructions that came with the cams, to grind the valves slightly if the proper clearance is not achieved, which is I was against so I went with the adjustable pushrods, but still it may be the case, looking into taking the machine now to a Dyno and figure this out and get done with it.

hey man did you ever figure out what the problem was? I got the same kind of noise, I thought that one of the push rods was rubbing against the covers but I checked and that wasn't the case, then I put the fp3 on auto tune and I noticed that the noise got worse on 3rd and it turned of on me several times. I managed to get it back home and now wondering if I should go open my cam case and check I anything is rubbing. Let me know what you found out about your problem.

In all honesty 4th gear and 2,000 rpms does not go well together, I'd be downshifting to 3rd or 2nd to get better power and less punishing to the engine to get up to speed. To slow of engine speed for 4th gear.

Boy do I feel like a dolt responding to a 4 year old thread, hope the OP figured it out.
