I believe it's possible just to put the mids pegs back on and leave the forward controls as is. Something to consider and some do this to move the legs around on long rides. You could fold the mids up to keep them out of the way. Just a thought. Don't forget to get the little tower gaskets that stick on the two towers on either side of the chain adjuster.
