I got the chance to ride about 100 miles last Thursday, and a couple of notes. The Kraus risers work well. I have 10" ones and they feel rock solid, yet the mirrors do not vibrate at speed and my hands feel very little vibration. I find myself mostly in the 3,500-4,000 rpm range while cruising. The Cycle 27 foot pegs definitely send vibration to your feet. Not uncomfortable or numbing, but you can feel more.
The Bung-King chain slider did not work. With the additional offset of the transmission sprocket, only half of the chain was riding on the slider, and it chewed it up quick to the point of touching the passenger foot peg mount. Some of this was due also to the chain loosing up quite a bit just in one day. I was punishing it pretty good. I had several power wheelies. A new custom slider is being made and the chain is getting adjusted.
When I get 500 miles on the new build, it's dyno time! We'll see if we crack 150 hp. The thing is a beast already.

Fab 28 Custom Exhaust with 1-7/8 to 2" Primary tubes
Custom Screamin' Eagle 124 cylinder head badges that add 5 hp
Before Fab 28 did the exhaust, I had a V-Rod Thunderheader muffler modified and was going to have Fab 28 incorporate it into their exhaust. After Fab 28 showed me how light their muffler was, I went with theirs. RC Cycles is used to seeing over 150/150 with the above components, and they are thinking the Fab 28 muffler is killing some power. In about a week, they are going to slip on the modified Thunderheader muffler to see if the motor picks up in power. If it does, I'm going to see if Fab 28 can make a custom muffler that mimics the Thunderheader muffler, but lighter.

The good news: The modified V-Rod Thunderheader muffler took away the big dip. I can definitely feel the difference riding the bike. The bike is comfortable cruising now between 2,500 and 3,500 rpm. Before, I can only describe it as surging, like it wanted to cruise at minimum 4,000 rpm. It also took away the "getting on the cam" feeling. The power is more linear now. Looks like the old-school Thunderheader muffler is still king compared to the smaller mufflers, albeit heavier. Also note the starting rpm, for a 144 hp monster, it has a ton of torque at the low low end.
The bad news: The exhaust was originally built for the 117, and now it is too small for the 124. The 1-7/8 to 2" primaries are holding the horsepower and torque down. Looks like another exhaust down the line.
