I have the same exact problem...I used electric tape to fix it and rolled on!
Question: could this be the reason why sometimes my bike lunged forward when in de-acceleration while still in gear? I doubt it but I thought I ask...I have been chasing this gremlin for months...I cleaned the air cleaner, valve and IAC....maybe I need to change the Engine Heat Sensor?
