So 10,500 is the price basically, and they’re buying the sportster off me for what I have it up for sale for, which actually saves me 450 bucks on sales tax too. I’m gonna try getting em down another 500 tomorrow. I think this deal is ok, not great, but good enough that I’m not gonna drive to Seattle to hopefully save some money.

100 miles each way shouldn't take an entire day, but to each his own. Also, not sure why it matters if you make $27k a year or $327k a yea - $30 < $250 regardless of your tax bracket.

If you are happy with the deal, we wish you the best of luck. I'm sure your wife will enjoy the bike regardless of what you pay for it.

2011 Super Glide Customs currently are listed at most dealers between $8,999 and 10K depending on miles and color. Mine is still sitting on the showroom floor for $9k since trading for my RG in June. Tempted to go offer them $500 more than what they gave me on trade and try to get it back. Loved the bike and never any real issues in the 15k miles I put on it in the 2 1/2 years I had it. I was given $7k at trade in and paid right at $10k for it in 2015 with 9k miles on it.
