Default Upgrading to Ohlins suspension

I'm set on a pair of STX for the rear shocks but has anyone besides AdamsRotors added the NIX cartridge system to their forks? I know he had to get a different part to make them fit, just wondering if anyone else has had success. Also, isn't there a forum sponsor that can give us a price break?

Done both, just wish I did it at the same time now as financially it was a lot more expensive (postage from USA to Australia)

Do it, very much worthwhile. Especially if you are heavier and/or ride aggressively.

They bolt right on. He may have needed the install tools which you need to purchase separately. If you’re real handy you can make the tools yourself

His issue was due to the FXDLS having different internals for the factory cartridge system, he had to widen the hole at the bottom of the left fork to use a larger diameter bolt, if I'm understanding is post correctly.

Really my issue is trying to find a set that just bolts right in with no modifications.

if I remember it correctly it’s the bottoming cup that is different in the left slider due to a cartridge system. Just change to standard lowrider bottoming cup and bolt and you should be fine. I’d search his name on the forums and check his posts just to be 100%

Yea you’ll have to machine it out or purchase a lowrider slider separately
