2 into 1 exhaust worth it?
I've had my 2009 Dyna Super Glide custom for 5 years now. I really like it and they seem to always be a work in progress. The previous owner had installed V&H straight shot slip-ons with quiet baffles installed. Stock intake and I believe no tune was done. Also no piggy back controller. The bike runs well but has some serious decel pop that I'd like to abate as it is extremely annoying to me. As we are all well aware, one thing always leads to climbing the ladder with these bikes so I was planning on purchasing a Fuel Pack Tuner, and while I'm at it, it seems to make sense to install a free flowing intake like a Arlen Ness Big Sucker. So getting to my original question, is installing a 2 into 1 exhaust like the Bassani Road Rage worth it dollars wise? I'll state that I like the look of both types of exhaust but I'm sure the 2 into 1 would give it maybe a few more hp over the straight shots. I'm interested if other who have gone this route feel the expense is worth it. As an option, I guess I could always try to find a used system in nice shape.

As a combination I really like it and consider it worth it. Bought it from Fuel Moto and the tune they loaded is almost spot on.
Have a little decel pop but working on it to decrease it, so it is a lot better. The other nice thing about Fuel Moto is as a package you usually get a better price. Not to mention excellent customer service.
Just my .02 worth.

I too am thinking about 2 into 1 exhaust, but the price is not worth the effort to me,
There are budget pipes, but there short pipes and I prefer the long look.
But which ever route you choose... Post pics! Both sides of the bike...
Like getting fresh ideas.

Good one Antonio........got a good chuckle out of that one.
Rew, definitely will post updated pictures once completed.
Suede I could not agree with you more, the stock AC is Ugly's even uglier step sister!!!
So my 2 current thoughts
Fuel moto power package would be $1050.00 for Bassani Road Rage 2 Chrome plated plus Arlen Ness Big sucker and Fuel Pack 2. The exhaust from them is the best price I can find anywhere. Any opinion on the Bassani Pipe? The last Bassani Pipe I used was on a 1970 Yamaha CT175 Enduro 2 stroke so that kinda shows that I'm as old as dirt....lol....
I've considered the Fuel Moto Air Cleaner (Cause they have them at a great price) but I think it only comes in Black. I think the Big Sucker with small Chrome cover would look good on this bike.
Alternately, I could just do the air cleaner and fuel pack and save close to $600.00 but I'd always feel like I cheeped out, plus I may have to turn in my Dyna Bros Card if I left the dual exhaust on it....
Open to the Dyna Collectives opinions on Exhaust and Air Cleaners.
Thanks for all your input!!
